The Los Angeles Lakers have been making noise during the ongoing NBA season for all the wrong reasons. After a frustrating loss against the Phoenix Suns in a recent game, the Lakers are unfortunately unable to break their losing streak. According to Austin Reaves, not everything has fallen apart for the Lakers, as the 27-year-old believes a lot can be done to improve the current situation of the team. He went on to drop a straightforward 3-word message to help the Lakers come out of the current situation.

Austin Reaves breaks silence with pointed three-word fix for Los Angeles Lakers slump

The Los Angeles Lakers are currently in one of the darkest phases during the ongoing NBA season. After losing three games back to back, the Lakers have diverted the attention of the world. After a frustrating 113-110 loss against the Phoenix Suns recently, the cracks in the team roster have become a talking point currently. However, amidst all this, Lakers’ guard Austin Reaves can still see the silver lining in the dark clouds.
The dynamic NBA star recently dropped a blunt 3-word message for the Los Angeles Lakers. According to him, the team should focus on redirecting their focus on the positives instead of focusing on the negatives. During a recent postgame press conference, Austin Reaves said, “Control the controllables. There’s a handful of plays tonight. I feel like if we are better, it can swing a game. Every possession matters. I know it sounds like a cliché because there are so many of them, but it can swing the game in either direction.”
He further continued, “Throughout the game, one little play, one little mistake can ignite a crowd, ignite a team, whatever it may be. So, control those controllables.”Austin Reaves’ message clearly emphasizes the current loss of the Lakers, which is related to the team’s issues with executing proper plans on the floor. Apart from the poor performance of the Lakers, Luka Doncic has become a hotbed of discussion in the NBA world due to his inconsistent performance and a whining attitude towards the referees.
